An 18th-century George II/III mahogany two-drawer bedroom table or side table, with single drop leaf to the back.
Chamfered square section legs with spandrels/bracket supports, with one cluster leg at the back that swings out to support the flap. Oak-lined drawers with, what I think, are the original handles, judging by the wear, etc.
Superb colour and patina, especially to the drawers, and a very useful size.
Good sturdy condition, the top with the expected dings, faded water stains, scratches, etc., the drop leaf with very slight warp which doesn't effect use (mentioned for transparency) - please see photos. One small repair to the right of the right hand drawer - hardly noticeable though, but mentioned for transparency.
Probably Scottish, circa 1760.
