19th century Irish vernacular sugan (rope) armchair, very solid and sturdy, with visible through-wedges.

Nice untouched, dry patina in first, or at least very early, paint.

Very historic possible repair to top left of back rest and small split to back of one armrest but of no consequence. See photos for more details.

Pleasing shape to the front legs and the arm rests. 

Lots of character with a really good vernacular look.

A little narrow at the front so check the dimensions if you're planning to sit in it!
