A decorative and useful pair of spindle back, rush-seated chairs.

Nicely worn ebonised paint with original rush seats.

Sturdy, no movement. A fair amount of old woodworm flight holes to both, but inactive (although I treated them anyway just as a precaution).

19th century, probably early.
