A 19th-century pine carpenter's chest still with its original stain and iron handles, with later removable trays.
Full of character, good colour and wear creating a pleasing deep patina.
Small loss to the back right edge of the lid but hardly noticeable and the lock is no longer present (the escutcheon is though). Plenty of dings and wear as it was a carpenter's chest, but all very solid and original throughout (except the trays).
A perfect coffee table, lamp table, blanket box, toy box, shoe box, etc.
