Nice corner chair, with bobbin-turned legs united by a cross stretcher, deep carving, “Sit at ease” inscribed across the back rest, peg joints and a drop in seat (requiring reupholstery). Strong and tight. The auction house said late Georgian, but looks more Victorian to me.
