Ebonised and with gilt edging and railings, the candle holder can revolve around the table, as can the bookshelves underneath.
Still in completely original untouched condition, which I like, with no repairs, good looking but with some expected age-related wear and tear, i.e. gold paint flaking away from railings in places, light scratching to tabletop, etc.
