Very honest and charming occasional table sometimes called a wine table or kettle stand.
Late 18th century/early 19th century.
Stunning patina with striking fiddle back grain on the rectangle tabletop.
It's very sturdy - just some very slight movement to the tabletop which doesn't affect its use, I'm just being transparent!
Just the expected marks from being 200+ years old that give it character.
Some old light restoration to the edging round the tabletop in a couple of small places, only visible on very close inspection, see photo.
There's a very old small nick on the edge of the tabletop, see photo.
There's some very old metal supports under the legs - quite commonplace.
The tabletop is secured underneath by the original screws with off-centre heads.
A charming piece.
Height: 74cm
Table top: 32cm x 39.5cm
