A superb large, concave early 18th-century country pine open bookshelf or bookcase, with large dovetail joints, 2 open shelves, and original backboards, all raised on sleigh feet.
Initially, I assumed these shelves must have been the top of a dresser, but then I haven't seen a concave dresser top/bottom before? Maybe a settle? Although it all looks like it was built at the same time, so maybe it's purpose-built as bookshelves? The sleigh feet are very old too, so are either original or added very soon after.
