A beautiful Regency ebonised side chair with original painted floral detail, super design and a rush seat in excellent condition, which I thought was later but my restorer friend thinks is probably original.
Circa 1820.
Good condition, sturdy, no wobbles or movement, the odd historic inactive worm hole, some paint detailing obviously worn away over time as expected (see photos), no obvious repairs I can see, wear and tear commensurate with being around 200 years old - a really charming piece.
Perfect for your bedroom, bathroom, hallway, lounge, etc.
