A wonderful set of 5 walnut balloon-back chairs, surviving from circa 1860.
The walnut has taken on a rich patina, the cabriole front legs and gentle splay of the back legs forming a pleasingly elegant profile, with flowing carving to the seatback.
All 5 chairs are in excellent condition, very sturdy with no wobbles - all ready to go.
The original webbing underneath the seats is in good condition as is the fabric and braid.
