An early ceramic monk/friar egg holder, featuring 6 monks with various faces and expressions.

Probably the Weiss company in Germany, although note this is a much earlier version compared to what you’ll initially find on Google.

In very good condition considering its age and delicate nature, just expected age-related marks etc. - see photos for details.
